Neese Industries in its over 40 year history has grown to be one of the major manufacturers of industrial protective clothing and consumer rainwear. The company was started by Cliff Neese Sr. with the cleaning and refinishing of work gloves from the industrial plants. After initial success the operation later grew to the cleaning and refinishing of the various types of protective clothing that was used as well. In the mid-1960’s, Neese Industries moved into the actual manufacturing of protective clothing for industrial use. This expansion proved successful and later in the early ‘70’s Neese made the move to meet the demand for a wide range of consumer goods by introducing rainwear for motorcyclists, sailing, hunting, fishing, horsemen, and everyday work that required protection form nature’s elements. The uniform division soon followed and manufactures protective wear for postal workers, law enforcement officers, and security personnel. NeeseWearFR was added to meet the demand for quality flame resistant coveralls and protective garments.

The company maintains its headquarters and primary product distribution center in Gonzales, Louisiana. The objective of the distribution location is to have stock items available for same day or next day shipment. This distribution arrangement allows product to reach its destination throughout the contiguous 48 states within five business days via standard shipping services.
